365: #42 Cider Vinegar Chicken with Smashed Potatoes

Great flavor, though the chicken took much longer to cook than it suggested. I left out the salad, somehow I didn't have all the ingredients on hand. Cooking the chicken in the vinegar is like a quick marinade.

365: #45 Sausage adn Fennel Ragout with Creamy Polenta

We all liked this one. We have never had polenta before, though I'm pretty sure it's similar to grits. This was sweet and spicy, a great combo. I do suggest putting it over the polenta. We will have this again. A great dish.

365: #44 Ricotta Smothered Muschroom Burger

I really enjoyed these. Very different. Perhaps I used too much ricotta, but it was yummy. DH did not like them at all, kept yelling where's the beef? I guess I will have this myself sometime or add some burgers to it.

365: #43 Chicken and Spicy and Sweet Onion Sauce with Goat Cheese Smaches Potatoes

Without the wine, not a rich dish. We liked the master recipe better. I will try this again, though, with some white grape juice. Goat cheese potatoes were good. We made quite a large batch. Yummy.

365: #73 Spicy Shrimp and Bok Choy Noodle Bowl

DH said this is Chinese spaghetti. Sorry is it is from some other culture. That was his title. He liked it a lot though. Even took some to work for lunch, so that is another good sign. I thought it was ok. The fishy flavor was too strong for me. Baby ate quite a bit. She loves anything with long noodles. It is worth making just to watch her slurp the noodles!

365: #71 BBQ Sloopy Chicken Pizza

Not really a pizza. Sort of an upside down pot pie. The topping is sweet and good. Maybe I added too much brown sugar, but it said not to measure! The corn bread absorbed a lot of it and was very yummy. Like it a lot. We'll make this again!

365: #47 Minute Steaks and Potato Ragout

Yummy potatoes. I have never fried diced potatoes, unless you count hashbrowns from a bag. They were great. The steaks were kinda plain. I usually cook minute steaks in gravy, so it just wasn't what we were used to. I set out to do this for variety, but the things we both like are very similar to stuff I was already making. Oh well. I guess we already know what we like. There have been discoveries, though, such as the curry.
